Canyon and I made sugar cookies on Valentine's Day. Canyon thought it was great. He helped cut out most of the cookies in between spreading the flour around.
We took the kids to Trafalga one Saturday. Mr. Canyon thought mini-golf was great. He loved hitting the balls with the golf club and then getting the ball out of the hole. He didn't always keep his golfing to his own ball, much to the frustration of his siblings. Luckily, they are pretty patient with him and no one got too upset. .JPG)
Sadie and Sawyer (and Alan) climbed the rock wall. Sawyer got a little scared and didn't make it too high, but Sadie cruised right up to the very top. I was pretty impressed. They had a fun day.

Canyon has learned to roll his tongue. I am not sure where he learned it; I can't roll my tongue so I definitely didn't teach him. Alan can, but he didn't teach him. I guess he just figured it out himself.Canyon loves to rock in the rocking chair. He loves to be rocked, to rock himself and to rock while being read too. (He also loves to have stories read to him.) This day, he found one of the Thomas books and went to rocking.

Wow, I haven't seen you in ages, and your kids are getting so big!
I think most of our family can roll their tongues, I think it's just a natural thing. How fun to make sugar cookies, and Trafalga sounds like a great time. Wow for Sadie.
