Crazy June

We seriously felt like we were running like crazy during the entire month of June. Sadie and Sawyer were both playing softball/baseball and all three kiddos were in swimming lessons. Add a Daddy-Daughter date, a wedding, doctor appointments, trips to the pool and the splash pad to the mix and we hardly sat still.  I knew June would be crazy because I knew the rest of the summer would be pretty chill with the new baby.  Here are a few pictures from our crazy month.
Of course we have to work in a batch of brownies or two. They are Alan's favorite.
 Sawyer at swimming lessons
Canyon and I did Mom and Me lessons.  He loved it and I loved not having to chase him while the other kids were swimming.  He was very good at climbing out of the pool and jumping back in. He didn't like going under so much.
Sadie loves to swim and float on her back.  She is getting to be a pretty good little swimmer.
 Sawyer playing baseball.
Alan's niece, Loni, (mine too) married Michael on Jun 21st. It was a beautiful day.
We went to a local splash pad with my friend. We both took our hugely pregnant selves and sat on the grass while the kids explored and played.(Our babies were due about 5 days apart.)

I finished Sawyer's Lego quilt and entered it into the local quilt show.  The ladies that run the show said my quilt was a favorite of all the kids.  I wanted to make Sawyer a Lego quilt, but I didn't like any of the patterns I found online.  Alan suggested Lego heads and I liked the idea. I scoured the internet for different faces and then made a pattern for each of them.  I also made the pattern for the actual heads.  It was a really fun project and he loves his new quilt.

Wow you are busy! I love that Lego quilt. I might need to borrow the pattern someday.
