On Wednesday, we headed to Lake Powell with my family. We had an awesome time! It was slightly windy on Thursday and Friday, but that made it so it wasn't too hot. Here are a few of the things we did:

My kids like to make silly faces when I take pictures now. Their favorite chant is "funny face, funny face" so that carries into our photos. Don't ask me?!?Tube
Alan and MeSo after a fabulous weekend, we returned home to find this in our driveway:
Apparently on Wednesday there was a huge windstorm and our neighbor's tree went over the fence into our driveway. Yikes! The worst part is this:.JPG)
Our truck is under that huge tree. The back end is smashed up, but we can't really see the extent of the damage because there is a tree in the way... Good thing we had our car. It would have been smashed too.

Wow, that looks like you guys had so much fun. That stinks about your truck. That had to have been a huge wind storm.

So sad about your truck. It really was a horrible wind storm. We lost a few shingles. But that is nothing compared to losing a truck. What a bummer!

Lake Powell looks like a lot of fun! thats to bad about the truck. When Alan told us that a tree fell on the truck we didn't think it would be that big of a tree.
That is not what you hope to find when you get home from a trip! I'll admit to some jealousy about your Lake Powell trip though.
Awesome action shots! I loved all of them, especially Sawyer with Grandpa and you and Alan jumping off the boat mid-air! Hope you guys are doing well! We miss you A LOT!!!
That's crappy luck with the tree! Lake Powell looked like a lot of fun.
Nice job at getting up on the skis--first time up is the hardest one. Too bad about the tree! I've decided having big trees close to the house is a bad idea. A neighbor's tree fell on our house the week before we closed on it.
Thanks! Yeah its been so good to be out of school. It looks like you guys had a blast at lake powell. And wow, what a sight to come home to lol! I hope eveything is fixed now!
