Doesn't she just look thrilled?
This morning I put Sadie's hair in cute little pigtails. She looked in the mirror when I was done and said, "I hate my hair this way! In two ponies." I asked her why and she answered, "Because it is like a little girl." My little girl thinks she is too big for pigtails. I knew this day would come because I felt the same way, but I didn't expect it yet. I guess she is all grown up now:( A sad day. A very sad day indeed.

I can't believe it! Her face is proof of her dislike, but what an adorable subject! Her hair is always, always super spiffy!!! My own daughter was in awe of all Sadie's "hair bows"...can you show me a few??

Wait until she insists on doing her own hair. Then it goes from sad to just plain infuriating. Those new pics of your kids are adorable!
Dang. That's insane. I was still wearing pigtails in high school...scratch that, I still wear pigtails. Just tell her, "if they're good enough for Audrey Hepburn, they're good enough for you", and then show her a picture of her, so she'll know who the heck you're talking about.
