Where does the time go?

It seems like just yesterday Sawyer was this sweet little baby boy.

Now he has grown into this handsome little 5 year-old boy.

Mr. Sawyer is a very good little boy. He loves to help and is generally kind.  He is very busy and active and constantly making, building, or destroying things to see how they work.  We have several holes throughout the yard that he has dug, bike tire skid marks all over the driveway and multiple "projects" he has started out of everything from paper to two-by-fours.  He wants to build a trailer and he has described in detail how he is going to accomplish it.  It just might work if he has all the supplies. He also wants to build an airplane big enough for Sadie and him to get in.  Lately, he has really enjoyed playing with Legos.  He also recently decided that he is big enough for showers and usually chooses a shower over a bath...I can't even get Sadie to try a shower. Sawyer now weighs 39 lbs and is 42" tall.  (about 40th percentile)  He is a happy kid who always has a smile.

Sawyer loves to help his dad and he loves to use tools. 

We had a little friend birthday party for Sawyer with a few of his friends.  They had a great time I  think and Sawyer was especially excited.
