Summer fun!

We have been having lots of fun this summer. Here are a few of the things we have been doing.
Painting on the front steps
We put Sawyer to work mowing the lawn with 'his' lawn mower.  This mower just happens to be the smallest one we have, and yes, we have a tiny lawn and several mowers.  That is what happens when your husband can fix everything.
Swimming lessons.  Sawyer floating on his back with help. He is really enjoying swimming lessons and he can now bob by his self.  He will go under the water and put his face in which are both huge improvements from last year. He is still one of the most cautious kids in the class, but at least he is getting somewhere and at least he is enjoying it.
Sadie is floating in the deep end of the pool. Most of her lessons this year have taken place in the deep end of the swimming pool.  I am amazed at how well she is doing. She can float on her back indefinantly and she can tread water and of course swim. She does the front stroke and the back stroke.  She loves swimming on her back. She isn't afraid to be in the deep water and she has made friends with all of the kids in her class.
Coach-pitch softball has been lots of fun. Sadie just hit the ball in the picture. She has really enjoyed playing and I think she will play in the future to.
Sadie is a little like a cat. She loves to lay in the sunny spot on the living room floor in the morning.
And of course, we have been fishing. Alan caught this one, but he let Sawyer reel it in.

We have four weeks until the baby is due.  I am very excited to meet the little guy. I still have a few things to do before he comes, but mostly we are ready. The bassinet is clean and set up, all his clothes and blankets are washed and in the right places, the car seat has been cleaned and the car seat tent is complete.  I have diapers and wipees and Baby Magic lotion and Desitin and all the other things we may need ready to go for the little guy. Hopefully I can get a couple of more projects done before he makes his appearance, but if not, it will be just fine.  I can hardly wait to snuggle him.

Loved catching up!! The phone just doesn't do justice...entirely, but the pictures make up for it. Your children are getting way to big and I know it hardly seems real how fast they grow! Good luck with the last few weeks. I can't wait to come meet your little guy! You also did an amazing job with the quilt! I love the colors...so eye catching and way to be brave enough to put it in a quilt show! You're amazing!

Fun to see what you guys have been up to and we are excited to meet your little guy! I just had to comment that I was exactly like Sadie when I was little with the laying on a sunny spot on the carpet. I did that all the time!!

As long as you have Baby Magic, your baby will smell how a baby is supposed to smell. ;) So excited for you guys!

I'm glad Sawyer had fun with swimming lessons. That is always a blessing, so I found out this year.
