Where does the time go?

I can't believe my baby girl is 5! I seems like just yesterday I was holding this beautiful, perfect little baby. And yet, I can hardly remember life without her. Yesterday was Sadie's birthday. I decided to let her have a friend birthday party so we invited a few of her friends and she had a fun time.

She wanted a swimming baby. She actually cheered when she opened it up!
Sawyer wanted to display the cupcakes while sister was showing her cake. This was his silly smile.
Sadie with her fairy cake. I think it is the ugliest cake I have ever made, but Sadie loved it! Sadie is growing up so much every day. She loves to draw and color. She especially likes to draw people. Every day her pictures get more detailed. I will have to scan in one of her pictures. She can now dial our home phone number and write her first and last name. She is starting to sound out words and loves to be read to. She is a great big sister and loves to help Sawyer anyway she can. She is growing so fast. I think she has grown 3 1/2" in the last year. She weighs 39 lbs and is 42 1/2" tall. Both measurements are 50th percentile. Sadie is my little buddy and she is a big helper. She is anxious to go to kindergarten. Too bad for her she has to wait until next year, but I am glad to have her home with me one more year. Happy birthday to our little Sadie-roo!

Alan and I were able to get our kittens out from under the shed. Their eyes are just barely opened and they are pretty cute. Sawyer loves to hold them. He is usually pretty careful. There are four of them.

Oh my heavens I can't even believe she is that old either. Where does the time go. I can still remember you doing flips off our couch and dancing to the happy CD. I still have that to fun times. It is crazy how long ago that was and now you have a beautiful five year old and a handsome 2 year old that is just crazy. The kittens are so darn cute I love kittens but I am not a fan of cats plus Collin is allergic. I love how they are all different colors so adorable.

Right now I am dreading Ezra ever being close enough to go to school. You really do have such cute kids. Happy B-day Sadie!

I can't believe how fast they have grown. It seems like it was just yesterday I was asking you if you were pregnant yet, turns out we both were and didn't even know it and know they both are five. Lily is so excited to be five...there not toddlers anymore :( Happy Birthday Sadie

She is such a cutie pie! And I think your cake turned out great. We are always hardest on ourselves.

I bet your kids are having so much fun with those cute kittens!

Wow. I can't believe your little girl is five either. Especially since we're the same age. But, I do love the baby pic. She was the most beautiful baby I'd ever seen when I first laid eyes on her.
