1. When he goes outside, he has to dump out the cats' water...preferably on his sister.
2. He was ready for lunch so he got a bowl out of the dishwasher, opened the fridge, got the soup and poured himself, and the table a bowl.
3. If I leave the butter, syrup, salt, pepper or cinnamon and sugar on the table, he dumps it out. This week it was a whole bottle of cinnamon and sugar.
4. He colored with a Sharpie all over our printer, including on the scanner/copier. Luckily, rubbing alcohol takes off Sharpie but,
5. He pushed all of the buttons on the printer until it wouldn't work anymore. It took us nearly a week to figure out how to fix it...and not because we are stupid, because there is a trick and we don't have the owner's manual anymore...thank goodness for the Internet.
6. If I leave his shampoo/body wash in the tub while he is in it, he dumps the whole bottle into the water. He hadn't done this for a while, but this week...twice.
7. If I leave shampoo/body wash anywhere he can reach it when he isn't in the tub, like on the edge of the tub, he dumps it out usually onto my carpet.
8. We couldn't find Alan's Chilean money the other day. (We are planning on giving some to a coin collecting nephew for Christmas.) When Alan opened his scripture bag, it all fell out and Sawyer said, "I did it!"
9. He has ruined two shirts by cutting holes in them with scissors. Scissors he snatches from me when I am using them, but have set them down for a second.
10. He opened several bottles of fingernail polish and polished his toes, finger, the bathroom floor and rug, as well has his shirt and pants.
11. He finds endless pleasure in putting the cats' food in the cats' water.
12. If he is riding his little four-wheeler, he can't help but run over my flower bushes.
13. He used a chair to get fruit snacks out of the pantry. He then hid them all over the house. Every little while he comes upstairs eating fruit snacks...I don't know how many are still hidden.
14. He took the key out of my parents hot tub and tried to use it to start the car. Sadie just learned how to open the car doors this summer. Sawyer just learned how last week, but I find him in the car way too often.
15. He squirted out a whole bottle of fabric paint onto my carpet.
16. We put him to bed the other night and thought he was asleep. A couple of hours later, he came downstairs and asked to wash his hands. They were covered in lotion. We asked him where the lotion and Germ-X were. He pointed to our room and said, "in dare" He had squirted out a whole bottle of lotion, a whole bottle of Germ-X and a travel sized bottle of Germ-x. He also had the mouthwash out, luckily he couldn't get it open. When tried to take the blankets off our bed, the Germ-x splashed onto the wall. It was a brand new bottle.
17. And last but not least...well this is the last thing I can think of and it is also the most recent. Last night he was in time-out in his room. I told him he could come out. He came out and showed me this:

His hands and hair were COVERED in diaper rash cream. I said, "I swear I put that up high." I went to his room and saw this:

I had put it up high, but Sawyer had climbed onto his dresser and got hit down. He filled the wipee box and both his Sunday shoes up with it and used it as hair gel then put it back...The little stinker. Keep in mind this entire list has happened in the last two weeks. Good thing I adore the kid. Seriously, I absolutely ADORE him. Again, he is the happiest, smiliest, sweetest kid you will ever meet. He just loves to cause trouble.
P.S. I do watch him, but he knows when I am just busy enough not to notice. Also, I do have to shower, change the laundry, clean and make dinner (and breakfast and lunch) sometime. He has also recently quit taking a nap. I really do try to keep everything up high and out of reach, but I am running out of 'safe' places to put things.

I am very sorry. Justin was just like that, so I feel your pain!!! He grew out of most of it, but he still sneaks fruit snacks/candy. I find empty bags in the strangest places. :)
oh man, i thought alex was trouble, but sawyer puts him to shame! :)
Gotta love um. He so precious. Just all boy!
Sometimes you have to just look at them while they are sleeping. That way you can remember that they really are so cute and once in a while they actually do lay down and go to sleep. It sounds like you have had a crazy couple of weeks. Just think, it's got to slow down and be less frequent eventually.
Wow. That is seriously all I can say. Good thing the boy is cute or you might have to give him back!!
I completely understand, we went through similar things with Jacob, in one 6 month period we called poison control 6 times, and in between the times we called poison control we called Caleb's mom. And at 9 months he could completely take apart my clothes hamper. I am sure people thought I just wasnt' watching, but that wasn't it.
Jacob loved to use drawers as a ladder as well. Your post just brought back all the fun memories of Jacob.
I just have to say that is pretty impressive he got to the diaper rash cream. He is a cute kid though, good luck keeping things out of reach :)
Isn't it funny how different boys are from girls? So much more mischievious!! Anyways, yes, you can wash pretty much anything microfiber in the washer, just take the covers off of the couch cushions and throw them in, I've tried hot water and cold water (they work the same) and use the same amount of soap that you would a normal load. Works wonders!!
Oh my gosh this is hilarious!
Some of those remind me of Braxton now and when he was Sawyers age. Just last week Braxton took a Sharpie and colored all over the kitchen cabinets. I didn't know about alchol taking it off but toothpaste did the trick. Thank goodness for the internet.
This made us laugh so hard.. sawyer is such a cutie!
wow.. that is incredible. glad he keeps you busy... and nice music
Kirk
Holy cow! You sure have your hands full! My sister Heidi was like that...luckily once she got past that stage she was a perfectly well behaved and mellow child.
My sides hurt from reading about so much trouble caused by one child. You really wouldn't know it to look at him, that's for sure!!!
