I while back, my friend Jenn and I decided to take our kids to the zoo. It was a perfect day. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either. Almost all the animals were out and active. We always go when it is really hot and the animals just lay there, but not this time! We even saw the wolves which I have never seen before. They were feeding them when we got to that exhibit. It was fun to see the animals playing and eating and just being more active.

Riding the train

The white-handed gibbon. He came over to look at us after swinging all over.

There are ostriches where the zebras were. They are HUGE and they look really mean.

The snow leopard was out and he kept looking through the glass at us.

We rode the carousel.

And of course we had to see Zuri the baby elephant. She was very cute and still so little (for and elephant) for being a year old.

They were feeding the gorilla and the orangutan when we were looking at them. He seems to love his salad and the zookeeper said he even eats the box.

Looks like you had a lot of fun at the zoo. We went but i forgot the camera, you need to come back up here so you can see our zoo.
You had a much better zoo trip than we did. It was freezing, the train was down, the gorillas were out of sight, and the kids were so sad the bears had been shipped to Oregon. The baby elephant was super cute though.
